KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Sr Associate Contract Compliance in CIO Advisory for ourConsulting practice.
Responsibilities:
· Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution of software licensing compliance reviews and software license optimization to customers across multiple industries (e.g. Financial, Technology, Healthcare, Consumer Goods/Manufacturing, Government, Media & Telecom, Oil & Gas etc.)
· Analyze complex software license agreements to understand entitlements, gather relevant deployment data from customers, analyze and prepare license position reports (i.e. entitlement vs deployment report).
· Interact with customers to understand IT infrastructure and provide guidance on data gathering needs
· Analyze clients tools, technology and processes to identify existing gaps and asses opportunities for license remediation/optimization to achieve costs savings
· Project a professional image of KPMG
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:
· Minimum of three years of experience with software licensing, software assurance or software asset management
· Provide leadership and guidance to associates
· Lead meetings with a variety of customer personnel (e.g. leads from Procurement, IT Asset Management, Business, VP/Director of IT/Infrastructure etc.) to review IT environment as well as validate software deployment information
· Draft deliverables for management review and document review results in work papers
· Prepare and assessment results, support management with presentations for clients
Qualifications:
· Minimum of one - two years of relevant experience with software license analysis/compliance and asset management
· Ability to understand and discuss IT architecture, systems, virtual environments, Cloud(IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) and product deployment scenarios with technology and business leads (typically this will be Fortune 500 company leads)
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct meetings with clients and thirdparties in challenging surroundings
· Experience with data analysis tools including Excel, Access/SQL with a strong attention to detail
· Excellent analytical, research, organizational, issue identification, prioritization, and resolution and report writing skills
Additional Qualifications:
· Strong working knowledge of the licensing of at least one of the following major software license providers including: IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, VMWare and Salesforce
· Travel maybe up to 25%
