Overview of the opportunity:

Software Web Developer/Full Stack Developer

We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Digital Compliance team. As a member of the engagement team you will work closely with KPMG Partners and managers on creative software solutions and delivering excellent service to a diverse mix of clients of various industries. Your organizational skills will enable you to manage the workload on a variety of projects with competing deadlines. The ideal candidate has a passion for client services.

What you will do

·  You will working closely with a Partner and managers on developing leading edge software solutions that are maintainable, scalable and super-fast.
·  You will be applying data analytics to large amounts of information from various sources to discover issues and patterns, analyzing methods to digitize and automate tax business processes of our clients, stay up to speed on latest technologies and deciphering how it can be applied in the tax field.
·  You are working with industry peers on 'going to market' proposals to help attract new work to the firm
·  You are crafting responsive web experiences that are secure, fast and high performing
·  You are ensuring a cohesive experience across different browsers and devices
·  You collaborate closely with team members in an agile environment
·  You are adhering to accessibility best practices, because we believe in an accessible web for everyone What you bring to the role

·  University Degree or equivalent with an outstanding academic record in Computer Science, Software/Computer engineering, Computing and Financial Management
·  Should have 1 -3 years of programming experience with C#, VBA, ASP.NET, Java, jQuery, Angular, CSS, HTML5 for Windows and Web Development, and database experience with SQL
·  You are current with the latest trends in web development, strong understanding of web programming and responsive web development
·  Excellent knowledge of industry direction and trends within Web application development
·  Strong understanding of best practices in performance tuning Web applications
·  Knowledge and experience with object-oriented design techniques
·  Knowledge and experience with the Agile design methodology
·  Negotiating, influencing, effectively challenging and gaining commitment
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Strong client service orientation and the ability to prioritize work and manage changing/conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment
·  Experience in Accounting/Tax courses are not required, but a definite asset
·  Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
·  You are a team player, able to effectively collaborate and build relationships over any medium of communication
