The Role:

KPMG is looking to recruit Russian speaking Trainees who shall either begin or complete their Professional Accounting Training within our Limassol or Larnaca audit departments. At KPMG you will receive technical training of the highest quality and will have the opportunity to develop your professional skills whilst working on a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work side by side with highly experienced and qualified professionals with a focus on the audits of Russian interest groups.


The Responsibilities:

· Working within a team to carry out audit procedures under International Auditing Standards
· Keeping line managers up to date with progress throughout the course of the audit assignment
· Liaising with the client on a day to day basis to execute the work under each engagement
· Reviewing financial statements based on IFRS
· Supervising, coaching and developing junior members of staff within teams (depending on qualifications and previous experience)

The Individual:

· Intention to commence either the ACA or ACCA professional accounting qualification. Where a candidate has already commenced either qualification, there must be a clear intention to complete it within a reasonable timeframe
· Excellent knowledge of the Russian and English languages (written and spoken)
· Willingness to travel within Cyprus and abroad, particularly Russia and CIS countries
· Robust analytical, time management, and organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
· IT literacy, and in particular, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
· Ability to work both independently, as well as within a team, often under time pressure
· Strong communication skills and ability to take initiatives
