Role

We are currently seeking to hire a Manager who will join our Regulatory (Insurance) practice.
We are keen to hear from candidates with a minimum of three or more year's work experience in dealing with the regulatory, risk management or compliance obligations of insurance or reinsurance companies which may include the following:

• Knowledge of and experience in the risk or compliance function of a regulated entity. (Technical knowledge of the Solvency II - Pillar 2 obligations an advantage);
• Technical knowledge in insurance accounting- an accounting qualification would be advantage but is not a pre-requisite;
• Working knowledge of the latest developments in insurance regulation e.g. Solvency II and/or Consumer Protection;
Strong interpersonal and client facing skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role. Experience of working in an advisory capacity for a professional services firm would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Working with clients to develop or review their risk and/or compliance functions;
• Working with KPMG's internal audit unit to deliver audits in technical insurance areas;
• Working to deliver on KPMG's outsourced risk and compliance roles for regulated entities;
• Providing advice and assurance on matters of a regulatory reporting nature, including risk management and governance;
• Working with clients to develop or review their ORSA and other aspects of Solvency II/ Pillar II;
• Interpreting and preparing for regulatory change; identification of and development of new propositions;
• Advising clients on emerging or identified regulatory themes.

Our Financial Services practice provides a broad range of audit, tax, advisory and regulatory advisory services.
