Job Description

The purpose of this role is to develop high quality video content for learning programmes across a broad range of departments. The ideal candidate must have a passion for video design and digital design with a strong desire to push boundaries in order to create high quality digital solutions. The role holder will be responsible for developing a number of videos at any one time across both video and animation.

Role Overview

1) Work collaboratively with Learning Designers and Business Stakeholders to create a wide range of videos, ensuring that the style and approach will meet the need

2) Develop bespoke motion graphics and animation

3) Record and edit audio files for animations, podcasts and eLearning

4) Run filming sessions and record both video and audio to the highest quality possible

5) Produce innovative ideas and concepts from the brief and learning objectives

6) Use strong storyboarding and script writing skills to communicate ideas and concepts clearly

7) Ensure published content meets technical design and development requirements, fully utilising the internal video channel ‘KPMG Player’

8) Project manage from concept through to the final delivery, ensuring that all elements conform to the brief and project objectives

9) Manage relationships with key stakeholders throughout projects, including Sponsors and Subject Matter Experts

10)Look to continually innovate and try new tools, techniques or technology in media production

11) Follow agreed consistent processes and methodologies, and suggest ways to improve or adapt them

Previous Experience

Working from a brief to deliver a media based solution

Working with a range of subject matter that can be complex and unfamiliar

Creating a range of video based solutions, demonstrable via a portfolio of work

Recording video and audio content to high quality standards.

Required Skills

Video design and development. Previous experience using video editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier

Proficient in using animation/compositing software (Adobe After Effects)

Previous experience using Adobe Creative Suite

Knowledge of filming techniques and equipment

Extremely creative, able to present and pursue projects from concept to execution

Project and relationship management

An ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Excellent communicator.
