Perform routine services associated with receipt, sorting and delivery of mail and packages.

Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
·  Effectively and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing mail (sorting and delivering)
·  Pick up and deliver parcels and packages within the office
·  Monitor eFax mailbox, including notifying recipients of incoming faxes
·  Prepare waybills for international, national and local couriers, including checking manifests/tracking
·  Review and reconcile courier invoices
·  Use of postage machine, including keeping adequate balance on meter
·  Order and maintain supplies, for both Mailroom and Office
·  Set up and break down of meeting rooms, including delivery of additional furniture/fixtures
·  Small scale office moves (providing bins, delivering same to new location, picking up empty bins)
·  May fill in for Hostess (tidying/cleaning, restocking, catering setting-up/taking-down)
·  Maintain and deliver stationery, paper for Multi-Function Devices
·  May respond to copy/fax machine equipment related issues At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.

Skills & Qualifications

A successful candidate will possess the following skills and behaviors:
·  High school Diploma
·  Work experience in a similar capacity in Mailroom/Mail Messenger Service/Customer Service would be an asset
·  Basic use of personal computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office software
·  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
·  Experience to make judgment calls on certain types of shipments and carriers
·  Solid understanding of internal services structure
·  Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload
·  A team player, friendly and receptive with the ability to demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude at all times
·  Ability to lift weight up to 50 pounds
