A big step for your career// Luxembourg
KPMG Luxembourg is looking for forward-thinking and passionate
people to make a difference to our clients, people and communities.
To support our growth, KPMG in Luxembourg is currently seeking a:
iOs Developer (m/f)
The role and responsibilities
Is coding your real passion? If nothing stands between you and your love for iOS development, don't be shy and please get in touch: we are looking for you!
As an iOS developer, you will be developing and extending the code based on our existing applications and building new products. You will work with colleagues in the mobile team and with web developers to improve and implement features which our users interact with directly.
What we want you to do.
You will be the first piece of the puzzle: the key element of our mobile development strategy. This is not an average position where you might be restricted to one small piece of the company's technology, but one where you'll have influence over our whole mobile program, from design to production.
The job involves the following responsibilities:
· Contributing to our native apps written in Objective-C.
· Integrating our back-end services to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience that is super-fast for end users.
· Helping to improve code quality through writing unit and automated tests and performing code reviews.
· Participating in brainstorming sessions and having the chance to contribute innovative and original ideas to our technology, algorithms and product.
· Working with the project management team to understand end-user requirements and use cases, then translating that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
· Diving into difficult problems and successfully delivering results within a tight schedule.
The perfect candidate
You want to work on challenging problems with smart people? You are someone who could get positions at most software companies, but are looking for the perfect role that has great leadership, a roster of top talent, game-changing product vision, and a work hard/play hard company culture?
The successful candidate is passionate about coding and is dedicated in making sure features are well implemented. This position requires experience creating native iOS applications from conception to production.
The iOs developer that we are looking for meets most (if not all) of the following requirements:
· Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native public/in-house iOS Applications.
· Deep knowledge of Objective-C, Swift and iOS frameworks.
· Ability to manage the publication process (certificates/provisioning).
· Excellent in app architecture and code quality.
· Strong debugging skills with riddle solver attitude.
· Good sense for native interaction patterns and usability applications.
· Experience in collaborating in software projects.
· Ability to collaborate within full stack agile development teams.
· Ability to work in a rapid changing start-up environment.
· Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Evidence of being self-motivated and driven - you find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve hard problems.
· Solid OOP and software design knowledge - you should know how to create software that's extensible, reusable and meets desired architectural objectives.
· Knowledge of Dependency managers like CocoaPods.
· Knowledge of Continuous Integration is a plus (fastlane).
· Knowledge on Android SDK is a plus.
Can contribute at least 2 good songs to our team playlist.
