Role

Our client is currently seeking to hire a HR Administrator to provide support to the Head of Human Resources and Deputy Head of Human Resources where required, to ensure a professional and efficient human resources service is provided to all employees. Supporting the overall implementation of human resource processes to support the objectives of the business in line with best practice and public sector guidelines

We ideally need you to have the following:

·  1 to 2 years HR Administration experience in a busy working environment
·  Degree level qualification in HR or a relevant discipline (desirable but not essential)
·  Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and discretion.
·  Strong MS Office skills - Word and Excel in particular, and ability to grasp new systems quickly.
·  Good written communication with forensic attention to detail.and Powerpoint skills
Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:

·  Providing administrative support to the Learning & Development Officer for all training related activities including booking of courses, reporting on training spend etc
·  Supporting all aspects of the administration of recruitment w
·  Providing support for all aspects of the new starter & leaver processes.
·  Updating internal HR databases & preparation of HR reports.
·  Ensuring all HR data and filing is recorded and completed in an accurate manner for efficient retrieval as needed - continuously working to improve the efficiency of supporting systems.
·  Maintaining personnel files and filing systems to ensure compliance with Data Protection legislation & other relevant employment legislation.
·  Answering HR queries from staff members and managers and updating of the HR mailboxes.
·  Assisting in the organisation and administration of HR events including training events, conferences etc.
·  Assisting with student work placement programme.
·  Administration and note taking for HR lead meetings.
·  Recording & reporting of leave entitlements of employees.
·  Assisting with all matters related to employee wellbeing and welfare including organisation & administration of Wellbeing initiatives.
·  Providing support to Head of HR and Deputy Head of HR on all pension related matters including recording & reporting on pensions data from the pensions system & compilation of associated insurances data.
·  Ensuring compliance with the requirements under the Data Protection & Freedom of Information Acts.
·  Arrange travel provisions for employees.
·  Undertaking such tasks, activities or other duties as may be required or assigned
