Executive- IT Operations (Offshore Analyst)

Context

Seeking an individual who can perform
the Level 1 & 2 IT Operations for the new proposed positions in the Offshore
ITS team.

Job
Description

The
responsibilities of the role and required expertise:

•
Understanding of end-user IT
Hardware, Operating System and IT Operations support.

•
Good experience in supporting Virtual
Application and Virtual Desktop environments (VMware, XenApp, XenDesktop).

•
Providing Support for the Onshore VDI
environment.

•
Support the applications published within
VDI for the business users.

•
Guiding users on the proper usage of VDI
for the better responsiveness.

•
Create Incident tickets
depending upon the impact of the issue reported.

•
Working on the tickets in the
queue/whichever is assigned to the team work queue.

•
Escalating the tickets to
Onsite/vendor teams as required, coordinate and follow-up for the closure.

•
Work with business users on the production
floor to understand issues which need physical attention.

•
Generate
MS Excel based daily status reports and Management reports

•
Analyze the
support process efficiency and provide recommendations for improvement.

•
Ability
to work in 24x7 shift timings in a geographically spread IT Operations team.

Candidate
key skills and experience

•
Min. 3 yrs
experience in the IT Service industry with mostly focusing on IT Operation
Support.

•
Strong communication
and interpersonal skills.
