Job description
The Digital Marketing Analyst helps shape the voice of one of Canada's largest and most reputable brands online. This role plays a critical part in building our brand in the digital space through the day to day management of KPMG Canada's official social media channels including (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. This individual also advises internal clients on how to write social content and how to optimize their campaigns to obtain the best results. In addition, the analyst is the point person to compile and assess the analytics from our social channels and kpmg.ca that will shape future campaigns in a wide range of industries such as financial services, advisory, technology, media & telecommunications.
This individual will be an integral part of optimizing kpmg.ca for search and running search engine marketing campaigns that will build awareness of KPMG's breadth of service offerings. In addition, the Digital Marketing Analyst will liaise with Global Digital Marketing to develop and actively promote best practices in social media, web analytics and SEO/SEM at KPMG Canada.

What you will do
· Represent KPMG on external social media communities including (but not limited to): LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Google+.
· Provide counsel to internal clients on how to create effective social media campaigns.
· Edit and publish multiple social media calendars on SpredFast.
· Maintain presence in online communities, as well as monitor and respond to feedback.
· Escalate issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders and help generate daily reports.
· Use leading social media monitoring tools like SpredFast to track engagement with our social channels (# of posts, followers and sentiment).
· Provide web analytics reports for Marketing, Talent Attraction, Communications and other internal stakeholders.
· Work with digital marketing managers to develop insights from analytics tools that will shape future marketing campaigns.
· Partner with our digital agency to run paid search campaigns and provide reporting.
· Act as internal subject matter expert, delivering relevant training courses to NSM marketers, especially in the areas of social media and analytics.
· Actively monitor and understand new technologies, providing recommendations on how they can be best utilized by KPMG to support marketing goals
Skills & Qualifications
· One to two years of experience in managing social media communities for B2B or B2C companies.
· Experience in the measurement and analysis of social media and/or website performance.
· Experience with a digital analytics solutions like Google or Adobe Analytics
· Excellent written communication and data interpretation skills to prepare and present accurate reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Experience with paid search tools like Google AdWords would be preferred.
· Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or Digital Marketing.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
· Proficiency in French is an asset.
