Roles and Responsibilities

As a Data Privacy Advisor , your tasks will include the following:
• You will create and maintain effective and sustainable data privacy & protection management programs while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legislation
• You will perform privacy assessments and have experience with maturity assessments, requirements analysis, data inventory, strategy development etc.
• You will manage multiple clients and engagement work streams as well as supporting engagement management and service delivery
• You will be delivering assessment, strategy and guidance and other related engagements around data protection and data governance from IT, operational and legal perspectives

Qualifications and Skills

• You hold a university degree and 2 years of professional work experience in the field of Information Data Protection and Risk Management or equivalent by experience.
• Professional privacy or security qualifications are considered a plus (such as CIPP/e, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, or other).
• You have a good understanding of current and future privacy laws, regulations and requirements and are willing to continuously keep up-to-date on the topic.
• You are aware of available data privacy standards, frameworks and guidance which are currently used in the corporate world
• You have a good understanding of the data privacy impact in emerging topics and technologies (IoT, Connected Cars, Wearables, Cloud, etc.)
• You understand the role of IT Security in Data Privacy and are comfortable engaging on IT-related topics
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch, English and French
