Job Summary

Our practice is growing and we are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant or Senior Consultant for our Montreal office. The candidate will primarily conduct quantitative analyses of supply chain functions that may comprise coordinating collection and cleansing of data collected from clients, structure and perform cross-sectional analyses on operational and/or transactional data, and/or perform core data input into optimization software (distribution networks, transportation or inventory).
The candidate may have to learn and use specialized logistics, distribution and supply analysis tools, and in time will need to develop self-reliance and expertise in their use.
The candidate will also assist in the execution of qualitative analyses for which he will document business processes and carry out research in order to obtain in-depth comparisons with leading practices, thus developing relevant industry experience that adds value to our clients.
The candidate will support a team of experienced professionals responsible for designing approaches and fundamental analyses required in the course of mandates with our clients.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will carry out the following duties:

·  Data analysis/business analysis
·  Operations process documentation and descriptions
·  Use of internal methodologies
·  Use of specialized tools, if required
·  Execution of secondary research and preparation of reports
·  Interpretation of quantitative analysis results in order to extract the highlights
·  Participation in the evaluation of business practices for comparison with leading industry practices
·  Participation in the drafting of reports for clients.

Skills and qualifications

Job requirements are as follows:

·  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management, or a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
·  Master's degree in Science or Engineering in a relevant discipline is considered an asset
·  1 to 2 years of related experience in industry, including internships
·  Experience in advisory services is considered an asset
·  Interest in in-depth quantitative analysis
·  Skill in structuring and layering complex business problems, in interpreting and integrating analysis results and in drawing conclusions
·  Ability to multitask, function in a flexible manner and manage priorities
·  Good sense of autonomy, and capacity to organize oneself being supported by the team
·  Excellent written and oral communication skills in both official languages (French and English)
·  Availability to travel in Canada and abroad
·  High level of proficiency with MS Office, including Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and Visio
