Job Description for GL Process Experts

Key Responsibilities

• SAP Project Implementation experience in GL (Not SAP end user experience)

• Reconciliation of financial data between source & GL system

• Project Management experience and understanding of different phases in a project

• Functional or process area expertise or knowledge

• Competency in handling different stakeholders

• Manage the project phases independently by reaching the milestone and be proactive

• Execute test scripts to cover GL transaction processing with different financial flows

• Analyze issues and work with cross functional team to determine solutions

• Candidate should be flexible for shifts

Skill set required

• Good understanding of the General Ledger environment

• Good understanding on EMEA Tax and compliance rules

• Strong skills and experience on big data manipulation (expertise in MS Access & MS Excel) and good experience in building queries, reporting, matching reports, exception reports etc.

• Implementation knowledge in SAP

• Hands on experience in reconciliations

• Excellent Communication skills

• Good analytical skills

• Eye for detail

• Self-driven

• MBA (Finance)

• M.Com / B.Com

• C.A.

Experience

Overall 3 - 6 years of experience with minimum 3 years hands on experience in GL process.
