·  Opportunities in Government/Defence Focussed Practice KPMG's Advisory business partners with clients to help them address complex business problems to ensure sustainable business outcomes; from distilling 'big data' to reveal valuable insights, to improving operational performance, optimising risk, restructuring an operation or seizing a new business opportunity through a merger, acquisition, strategic alliance or other transaction.

Your new role

We are looking to recruit talented professionals at all levels to work in Business Process Improvement roles. You will have sound experience in a related area; will be able to apply that experience to the public sector, and will possess tertiary qualifications and Australian citizenship is essential.

You will work across a variety of projects so you must enjoy stepping outside your comfort zone. Your ongoing responsibilities as a part of the team will include supporting a variety of advisory engagements as well as assisting with proposal development. You will have the desire to learn and deliver exceptional outcomes; excellent verbal and written communication skills; well-developed analytical capabilities; and enjoy the face-to-face interaction that client work brings.

You bring to the role

You will have demonstrated skills in one or more of the following areas:
·  Business Process Improvement - Requirements definition, business case development, acquisition strategy development, communications program development, tender document development, evaluation facilitation, negotiation, process and procedure design,
·  Analysis and design of business process improvement processes, procedures, organisation, systems and governance;
Procurement Costing Analysis/Management - Demonstrated sound financial analysis skills, ability to advise of financial issues, development of cost models and cost model financial assessments;
·  Procurement Assurance - contract and procurement process compliance reviews and improvement initiatives and procurement process advice. Previous experience within, or with one or more Federal Government Department's is advantageous;
·  Commercial Advice - providing commercial advice to the market for major business reform projects, including negotiation support, expert industry and commodity advice and structuring options. Experience in planning or conducting negotiations will be highly regarded. What we offer you:
