Description:

KPMG Spark, a KPMG LLP Small Business Service, provides bookkeeping services designed for small business owners. Our dedicated bookkeeping teams utilize our software to handle client's books by securely sending their data and automatically connecting it to their bank accounts, credit cards and third party integrations through the KPMG Spark app. Our services help clients ensure their financials are up to date, their payroll is delivered, their taxes are filed, and more importantly our clients are freed up to do more of what they love.

KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Business Development to join our Tax Transformation and Technology organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Increase market share of our services through live demos, outbound telephone calls along with emailing qualified leads, and no cold calling
·  Educate potential clients on our services and software to determine if KPMG Spark is a solution for them
·  Answer small business accounting related questions
·  Establish professional business relationships with clients and co workers
·  Engage with our accounting department to better serve our clients

Qualifications:

·  A minimum of two years accounting, finance or sales experience
·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance or business preferred or equivalent work experience
·  Demonstrated understanding of accounting basics
·  Excellent writing and communication skills
