Context

Seeking an individual who has expertise in Audio /
Video and collaboration services. This person will be responsible for
implementation and maintenance of Video Infrastructure Servers and endpoints
across the KPMG site.

Description


The responsibilities of the
role:

•
Good knowledge and
administration experience on Audio/Video Conference infrastructure platform

•
Have in-depth understanding of a
variety of hardware platforms including Polycom Video infrastructure and
endpoints, Skype for business audio and video conferencing and calling,
Office365, Cisco Contact Centre platforms

•
Experience with Polycom/Skype
for Business integration, architecture, and design

•
Responsible for the
configuration and operational support of Polycom video solutions.

•
Good Knowledge in SIP, H.323 and
ISDN protocols.

•
Strong integrations knowledge
and experience on AV devices, Crestron, Light ware, Polycom DSP and Clearone equipment’s

•
Good Troubleshooting, analysing
& managing the critical and problem tickets on Video issues.

•
Good knowledge in preparing
knowledge bases and standardize the Video end points configuration

•
Create and maintain Operations
documentation (video end points, server configuration, etc)

•
Has a proven background of
facilitating meetings / activities and achieving mutually agreed outcome

•
Define and execute system health
checks on daily basis

•
Assist on AV / VC services
during Town Hall meetings and multiparty video conferencing events.

•
Manage vendor relationship and
Service Level support with Third Party AV Conferencing providers.

•
Recommend upgradation of video
servers and end points whenever new images are available in Polycom

•
Maintain the server and end
points licenses, and inform to management ahead of time

•
Perform Conferencing System
testing and use testing procedures to validate that individual components and
the overall system are working correctly.

•
Perform preventive maintenance
in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications for all Conferencing
Systems.

Candidate
key skills and experience


•
Min. 7 - 8 years’ experience in
IT industry with mostly focusing on implementation of Video Conference
infrastructure.

•
Certified Crestron core system
programmer

•
Certified Crestron fusion
programmer

•
Polycom Certified Video
Conferencing Engineer

•
Deep understanding and experience
with Polycom Video Conferencing infrastructure and endpoints including RMX,
DMA, Real Presence Resource Manager, Content Connect and Skype for Business
integration.

•
Strong interpersonal skills and
personality with high customer service orientation

•
Demonstrate good judgment in
selecting methods and choosing the right options for setting up the
conferences
