This is the perfect opportunity for a passionate individual to help us shape the world of social investment and have a real impact on people and planet.

You will use your prioritisation and communication skills, and your attention to detail to advise and manage equity crowdfunding campaigns as they navigate their way through the Koodoo process. You'll be working closely with the other members of the Equity team as well as lawyers, compliance and marketing, and you'll learn how to craft compliant, exciting and impactful pitches and instill the skills and knowledge in your clients to maximise their chances of raising funds successfully for their business.

You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment and dealing with negotiations and challenging commercial situations. You should have some experience in client or account management, or be equipped with relevant skills for the role. You will have a keen interest in the start-up ecosystem, be highly personable and customer centric. You will equally need to believe our mission, advocating social impact in business, for people and planet.

Your Responsibilities

- Manage a pipeline of high quality impact focused startups looking to raise equity investment through via phone, email, LiveChat and face to face

- Become a crowdfunding and impact investment guru, educating entrepreneurs, reviewing and advising on their crowdfunding strategy

- Use technology, negotiation and hustle to keep entrepreneurs moving through the campaign process and minimise churn

- Prioritising work from a large and challenging pipeline with intelligent, stubborn but inspiring entrepreneurs

- Consistently challenge processes and systems and recommending process improvements to help scale Koodoo

- Improve and maintain a suite of outbound and inbound communication materials to scalably manage clients through the campaigns process

- Develop relationships with startup founders and management teams in order to gain an understanding of their business and funding requirements.

- Collaborate with colleagues from across the business, including partnerships and marketing, to improve processes and provide feedback.

- Cultivate a thorough understanding of the alternative finance/startup/impact/funding industry and keep abreast of significant developments in the space.
