We are looking for
A Technical Field Support Engineer provides technical support during the installation, commissioning and maintenance phases of KONE and/or non-KONE products. They resolve technical issues identified by manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams, working to ensure products are installed in compliance with KONE’s safety, process and quality requirements, without problems and on a timely basis.
Technical helpdesk and site support services for Front Lines and Supply Operations
· Provide remote or on-site technical support for installation and maintenance issues
· Improve employee engagement of technical staff, by coaching, training, supporting and offering guidance
Ride comfort
· Provide technical support to ensure customer specification requirements
· Investigate cases where KONE ride comfort specifications are not met, liaise with factory to find root cause and solution
Product development
· Provide product feedback to factory through feedback and early warning systems
· Assist with new product and solutions implementation into the field
Method and tools development
· Maintenance method development
· Service and trouble-shooting tools/spares development
· Feedback improvement requests to methods (AS AR and AM documents)
Training:
· Train local Trainers/technical staff during site visits and/or deliver scheduled training sessions
· Co-operate with and provide expertise to global and local training centres in training courses
· Identify training requirement with individuals and products
· Assist on developing training packages and delivery on complex equipment or critical areas
Quality:
· Implement new helpdesk tool logging issues and forward corrective actions according to KONE process requirements.
· Participate in closing reviews to ensure all learning from problem site is gained into business, whether product or skill learning for individuals raising training requirements or feedback improvements
Safety
· Be aware and operate within KONE safety requirements
· Ensure each installation follows the global processes and guidelines
· Follow the safety procedures and rules of customers, partners and KONE.
· Report safety concerns
· Stop installation or lift operations if safety violation or hazards are detected

Desired profile
Skills, Education and Experience
· Bachelors degree in Engineering or other relevant field, or equivalent
· Fluent in English
· IT literacy
· Willing to travel
· Flexibility
· Knowledge of KONE and/or non-KONE products
