KONE Supply Operations is responsible for the production and distribution of elevators and escalators globally ranging from standard elevators and escalators to custom-designed solutions.

We are looking for

As a Summer Trainee you will be part of Global Packaging Development team. You will participate in global packaging development projects and run and manage independently some improvement actions. Main focus is in European development actions.

Position can include tasks on the following areas depending on person's capabilities and experience:

· Guide and support KONE supply chain member in all kind of packaging topics 
· Support development project for example by data collection, prototype orders and test preparations
· Execute small corrective actions together with KONE factories and external suppliers 
· Analyze feedback data from delivery centers and customers 
· Prepare and update packaging related documentation 
· Execute simple and focused audits about KONE packaging requirement compliancy

Desired profile

Skills, Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree studies with preferable major in Packaging Technology
· You have basic knowledge of packaging manufacturing technology & packaging materials
· Project Management studies or experience is an advantage
· Work experience of packaging development & design is an advantage
· Fluent English 
· Knowledge of Chinese, Italian or Finnish is an advantage 
· Efficient user of Microsoft Office tools
· Independent working method and drive for results
· Good communication skills
