We are looking for
We are looking for a Summer Trainee: Drives to be working at Electrification and Drives Technology Category in KONE that develops and maintains component technology for elevator systems. You will participate to the new technology project as a testing and analyzing resource concentrating to drives (frequency converters).
Main responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project team members
• Support team members to have up-to-date test environment (test setup building)
• Test planning and testing to ensure functionality, quality, reliability and manufacturability
• Validation for alternative components
• Feedback gathering from production units and planning of corrective actions together with experts
Preferred start date is in mid-May - early June 2016 and duration of the traineeship is 4 months.

Desired profile
Skills, Education and Experience
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies in power systems or electronics
• Studies taken: 50%
• Language skills: English, other language skills are an asset
• Computing skills: MS Office, simulation and electronics experience are considered assets
• Persistence when facing challenges, an ability to follow issues through to completion with systematic and active orientation
• Analysis skills, methods and specification skills are an asset
