We are looking for
KONE in Saint John is looking for a Service Sales Consultant who will be managing KONE customer accounts in New Brunswick.
The Service Sales Consultant’s role is to proactively manage customer relationships, manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals professionally in a way that maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.
Your main Responsibilities
Sell maintenance, quoted repair and modernization for a full line of vertical transportation equipment
Contact prospective customers and schedule face to face appointments according to sales potential and geographical location.
Meet with prospective customers to ascertain their specific needs and to discuss the solutions available to address their needs.
Develop, price and propose the specific solution which best addresses each customer’s needs.
Explain benefits of specific service, repair or modernization solutions, such as improved performance, safety, and appearance.
Present proposal for customer review and negotiation.
Reviews bid documents and/or writes report of equipment to be serviced, repaired, or modernized and submits documentation to immediate supervisor, contract administration, and engineering department as required for project review.
Perform ongoing account management with current customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in other various branch functions including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable etc
Any other duties as assigned by KONE management

Desired profile
Skills, Education and Experience
To be successful in this job, we expect you to have
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in sales, marketing or business administration. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree eg. Language skills
Demonstrate ability to perform sales duties and responsibilities.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with building owners, general contractors, developers, architects and all levels of KONE employees
Two years minimum of industrial sales experience and/or elevator service/modernization sales experience
Ability to converse in methods of effective and persuasive speaking, voice and diction, phonics, discussion, and debate
Ability to work well in a computerized environment – use of SAP and Excel
Must have a Valid Driver's Licence
Also desirable if you have the following:
Basic level of commercial / technical training.
Mastering customer contacts,
Ability to make presentations
Experience in negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, after sales activities, basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
