We are looking for
KONE in Calgary is looking to add a Modernization Sales Consultant to our team that will service our customers in Calgary .
The Modernization Salesperson’s role is to proactively manage customer relationships, manage opportunities from current and new customers and close deals professionally in a way that maximizes KONE’s order book and profitability.
Your main Responsibilities
Contact general contractors, architects, consultants and owners to obtain blueprints of proposed modernization.
Confer with owners or agents of existing structures to determine type of installation required.
Inspect premises to verify feasibility of request and recommend changes for more efficient operation.
Perform order entry preparation upon successful completion of a sale. Submit layouts to the customers.
Review bid documents to assure contract compliance.
Assist in other various branch functions including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable etc
Any other duties as assigned by KONE management

Desired profile
Skills, Education and Experience
To be successful in this job, we expect you to have
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in sales, marketing or business administration. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree eg. Language skills
Demonstrate ability to perform sales duties and responsibilities.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with building owners, consultants, general contractors, developers, architects and all levels of KONE employees
Two years minimum of industrial sales experience and/or elevator service/modernization sales experience
Ability to converse in methods of effective and persuasive speaking, voice and diction, phonics, discussion, and debate
Ability to work well in a computerized environment – use of SAP and Excel
Other desired experiences include:
Basic level of commercial / technical training. Mastering customer contacts, presentations and negotiations, closing deals, tendering process, after sales activities, basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
