This position’s main focus is inventory cycle counting and to track and monitor inventory within the factory/warehouse. Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies.  Works with Direct Material Buyers and Accounting to perform all duties as it relates to the cycle counting of factory inventory.  In addition will assist with shipping, receiving & warehouse duties as directed by supervisor.

Inventory Control

·  Conduct regular Cycle Counts to determine the actual quantity and account for variances.
·  Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
·  Follow and implement the approved cycle counting schedule, so that discrepancies are identified and reconciled in timely manner.
·  Familiar with description (specification, unit of measure, application) of materials in order to perform accurate cycle counting and stock taking.
·  Research inventory discrepancies.
·  Work with MM Specialist to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
·  Highlight areas of concern associated with inventory problems and highlight facts surrounding the inventory loss, damage, destruction, or additions of materials.
·  Identify and remove outdated or obsolete materials from active inventory in order to protect the integrity of the stock valuation.
·  Implement and maintain a filing system of the counts, discrepancies, and issues identified during the cycle counting \\ process in order to maintain accurate records that can be easily audited.

Warehouse Layout

·  Will be a member of the factory master plan team and aide in factory/warehouse Kaizen events to improve material efficiency and logistics process discipline.
·  Assist with other duties as required.
