We have opportunities for apprentices to complete an NVQ Engineering National Vocational Qualification course, which will enable the apprentice to become a qualified Elevator Engineer.

We offer
At KONE we ensure that our apprentices receive the work-based training required, by providing all the necessary facilities, resources and opportunities to acquire the skills of the Electrical Engineering vocation.
Apprentices will cover the following routes but will specialise in one:
Service, maintenance and repairs of lifts and escalators
Installation and testing
Mechanical engineering
As part of the Apprenticeship, KONE will release the apprentice to attend the relevant Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which, in turn, will allow the apprentice to progress through the NVQ3 qualification.
The apprenticeship will be between 3-4 years, depending on location.
Your studies and on-the-job experience will lead you to achieve engineering technician status that is recognised within the industry.
