This October, we will be running the first food founders’ festival – The Bread & Butter Festival – a two day event filled with seminars, workshops and interactive displays. It will provide a platform for 1000 emerging food and drink brands to access industry expertise, learn about new opportunities and be part of a growing community. We are looking for a sociable and reliable person to help us manage our amazing community and help us put this unique festival together.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- be extremely well organised with experience of working autonomously
- be business focused, with an understanding of startups and the food industry
- be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about online marketing tools and social media
- have demonstrable experience of writing engaging copy - blog posts, articles, etc
- be positive and personable, with a great sense of humour
- have excellent knowledge of Google Drive and Apps

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Client relationship management
- Raising brand awareness – engaging with potential leads
- Market research – finding new clients and events
- Administrative duties e.g. managing our database and CRM system
- Marketing & social media management – responding professionally to clients

Although your primary role will be managing our large community of producers who have
signed up to take part in the Bread & Butter Festival, from time to time you may be asked to get involved in other areas of the business. We are a small, close knit team and you will be expected to be a quick learner who can seamlessly adopt a number of roles within the company. You will be expected to work in a variety of environments and liaise with many different kinds of people.

You will be expected to be punctual, well presented and personable at all times. As well as your regular working hours, you will be expected to attend occasional evening networking events as a Bread & Butter ambassador. The majority of your time will be spent at our offices off Tottenham Court Road. You will be expected to be able to travel there easily, Monday to Friday. We operate on a BYOD basis, (Bring Your Own Device) i.e. you will be expected to have a laptop that you can use to complete your work during the internship.
