ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first fashion house to introduce the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with the creation of the 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966, synonymous of youth and freedom. This change represented a crucial first step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury division of the Kering Group acquired the house of Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position it at the top of the luxury universe. Today, the Saint Laurent collections include women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, ties and eyewear.

ROLE

Within the finance and operations team, the data scientist intern will be providing data-driven insights and solutions to address business questions from different teams using forecasting and time series processing.

MISSION

· 
Ensure the consistency of data to secure the reliability of analyses, algorithms and tools to be built

· 
Understand the business issues and data challenges related to retail, supply, production or pricing …

· 
Build intelligent decision-making models for operational teams to help them optimize key performance indicators such as sell-through and availability rate

· 
Supporting operational teams in their takeover of data related projects in order to reinforce their commitment and sponsorship

· 
Identify and monitor the success factors of ongoing data projects in a test & learn approach.

PROFILE

· 
Master's degree in statistics/data science, looking for a final year internship.

· 
Proficiency in Office software (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)

· 
Proficiency in Python, SQL and GCP

· 
Strong technical skills such as modeling, mathematics, applied statistics, database manipulation.

· 
Familiar with time series forecasting models

· 
Good analytical skills to identify risks and opportunities

· 
You are curious, proactive and rigorous

· 
You are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken, and can work in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Internship of 6 months to meet in March 2025.
