The activity of Kering Finance Shared Services revolves around the following activities: OTC (Order to Cash) / PTP (Procure to Pay) / RTR (Record to Reporting) / MDM (Master Data Management). We are currently looking for a General Accountant – Accountant R2R, to join the R2R team of the MEA Team. Why Join Us? Reporting to the R2R Manager, the candidate will work within the scope to participate in the daily tasks of general accounting and taxation of certain group entities, monthly, semi-annual, and annual closings, as well as ongoing projects such as process monitoring and strengthening internal control procedures.
How You Will Contribute
We are looking for an Accountant to join our R2R team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, great attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
The expectations for this position are:
· Participate in daily general accounting tasks during monthly and annual closings:
· Asset management
· Payroll reconciliation & alignment
· Justification and control of statutory accounts at month-end and year-end: justification of balance sheet accounts during closings and tracking and documenting entries in the SAP reporting software.
· Preparation of statutory financial statements and other supporting documents for external auditors
· Participate in ongoing projects
· Monitor various processes within the R2R stream
· Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data in connection with the Group's internal control procedure
· Ensure compliance with current accounting standards and tax regulations.
· Work closely with other departments, treasury teams, and brand controllers to ensure smooth communication and effective coordination.
· Analyze transactional processes and recommend areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
· Assist the work of Tax coordinator to ensure compliance with relevant authorities.
