We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our Merchandise Planning and Supply Chain team based in Milan.
How you will contribute
Reporting to the Senior Demand Planner, you will be involved in product forecasts and quantitative analysis to support central warehouse and store replenishment processes, aimed at optimizing global product availability by balancing service level requirements with financial targets.
In particular, you will have the following responsibilities:
· Plan and review SKU level sales forecast, interacting with Brand’s stakeholders (sales merchandising, product marketing, Retail Operations) on a regular basis to collect qualitative input affecting demand (trend, cannibalization, events, ..)
· Management and execution of weekly global store allocation and replenishment, evaluating central inventory coverage and applying sales priorities
· Support monthly update of Open to Buy report and analysis
· Support monthly development of production requirements in line with Open to Buy
· Analyze and develop seasonality curves at product and store level to be applied on sales forecast
· Support analysis of inventory mutualization opportunities: rebalance (store to store, store to central warehouse) and restore form QC/Repair warehouse locations
Who you are
· Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering or Supply Chain-related subjects
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Strong interpersonal skills; team-work oriented
· Positive and proactive attitude
· Excellent knowledge of the Office package
· Fluent in English and Italian
