Job description

Job Title: Pay & Reward Advisor
Department: HR
Reporting to: Head of Pay & Reward
Location: London

Objectives:
Working as part of a team to provide exemplary services across Pay, Reward and Benefits. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of the monthly UK payroll for dedicated brands within the Kering portfolio. Contact point for complex pay and reward queries. Support Head of Pay & Reward on ad hoc projects, the maintenance and development of the reward provision for all levels of staff and for employer and HMRC expectations and requirements.
The role is part of the internal shared services provision and supports brands giving added value to the business as a whole.

Key Duties:

Payroll
Working in the team and working with designated brands, support the accuracy of over 1600 employees on 21 UK and 1 Irish payroll
Ability to deal with complex payroll queries and administration, such as gross up payments, tax guidance
Meeting and where possible exceeding stated SLA's
Embracing opportunities to work collaboratively with Payroll teams outside of the UK and with other teams.
HR accounting, preparation and posting of journals, monthly accruals and full reconciliation
Assist with executive pay queries, associated taxes and assist with their tax year end responsibilities and planning
Working with payroll software supplier to comply with HMRC and Company requirements
Participate in the checking and approval process with brand business partners
Assisting with processing salary review and bonus payments on an annual basis
General reporting including personnel budget analysis
Comply with internal and external audit requirements
Constantly review processes and procedures to maintain an effective and efficient service and flow of data with the wider HR team

Rewards
Full working knowledge of UK benefits and associated tax compliance
“Go to” person for technical knowledge for both employees and providers
Assist in annual renewals of all UK benefits
Assist in the design and communication of flexible and total reward process
Reporting and reconciliation of benefits
P11D/PSA data collection and calculations
Pension scheme (DC) management, auto enrolment etc.
Support Head of Pay & Reward on ad hoc projects including but not limited to system/process/benefit reviews and developments

Strong PAYE legislative knowledge
Excellent attention to detail
Analytical and process driven
Excellent IT skills including Excel vlookups and pivot tables
Report writing capabilities
Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and flexibility
Know how to prioritise
Good communication skills with business partners ensuring understanding by all
Team player
Payroll qualification preferable (full or part)
