We are looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our EMEA Procurement team based in Milan.
The role will manage procurement activities for goods and services, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure efficiency, quality, cost optimization, and compliance across the purchasing process.
The team manage a diverse and strategic portfolio of indirect procurement categories, including logistics, HR, construction, fleet, general services, security, office supplies, furniture, and more.
The position requires the ability to operate with a good level of autonomy while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the function.
How you will contribute
• Manage supplier scouting, evaluation, and selection processes within assigned categories, including activities related to Group brands.
• Deploy and execute Group procurement strategies at local and brand level, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and business objectives.
• Lead RFQs/RFPs and tenders, including the analysis and comparison of commercial and contractual conditions.
• Actively manage supplier relationships and support supplier performance monitoring activities across the Group perimeter.
• Analyse spend data and contribute to the definition and execution of category strategies, in coordination with Group and brand stakeholders.
• Support and, where appropriate, lead contract negotiations and the definition of framework agreements applicable across multiple brands.
• Track, calculate, and formalize savings in line with internal governance, reporting standards, and management tools.
• Actively contribute to the digitalization and continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders from different brands and functions to ensure effective implementation of procurement initiatives.
• Support risk assessment, compliance, and sustainability objectives within the supplier base at Group level.
Who you are
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Management Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing roles, preferably in structured or multinational environments.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end purchasing and sourcing processes.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
• Proven experience in managing negotiations and supplier relationships.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with procurement tools as Ivalua is a plus.
• Fluent English and Italian (spoken and written), French is a plus, with the ability to participate confidently in international meetings.
• Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and results-oriented approach.
