Started in 2019, the Finance Transformation project aims to leverage the implementation of SAP as well as several financial business applications (Concur, Esker, Blackline, etc.) to streamline the Finance Shared Services processes and organization, ultimately enabling the regionalization / globalization of those processes and organization. The SAP implementation project is a >100Mio $ project, ultimately planning to serve >3000 users.
We are currently seeking a (Procure to Pay) P2P Assistant Manager to join our team based in Florence.
Your opportunity
Your main objectives will include:
· Lead the implementation of continuous accounting and fast-close practices , to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
· Drive change management across all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and engagement on the P2P (Procure to Pay) processes
· Identify and execute opportunities for process automation enhancing operational performance.
· Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement ,
How you will contribute
· Supervised and coordinated a team to ensure accurate and timely execution of daily P2P operations and monthly closing activities, while supporting team development through coaching and performance feedback.
· Led the transition to continuous accounting and fast closing by implementing automation tools and redesigning workflows.
· Ensured proper recording and retention of financial documents in compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and monitor efficient, scalable, and user-friendly P2P processes.
· Maintained high service quality standards for brand partners by tracking key performance indicators and meeting service level agreements.
· Assisted the Finance Manager with all P2P-related activities during year-end statutory reporting, including financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and corporate tax submissions, while supporting internal controls and account reconciliation
Who you are
· Master’s degree from an accredited college/university
· Relevant experience with a focus on P2P processes, with a good understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and local)
· Strong AP background in Shared Service environment servicing multi-entities will be preferred.
· Experience on managing transformational projects relating to financial systems and processes are preferred
· process driven professional. Working knowledge of Power BI.
· Good understanding of retail & industrial businesses accounting (IFRS16)
· Full proficiency in English and Italian – verbal and written and strong interpersonal skills
