Summary
Job Family Group Description - Finance:
Gathers jobs supporting the business through financial services, such as business planning and performance analysis, risk management, tax and administration.
Job Family Description -Accounting and Consolidation:
Oversees the maintenance of our company’s general ledger and related accounting practices, including payables, receivables, inventories, fixed assets and payrolls.
Sub-Job Family Description - Accounting/Administration:
Supports our business by performing professional accounting work involving the compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data.
Job Description
Profile:
The Finance Intern will support various functions within the finance team in day to day activities mainly focused on (but not limited to) Payables, Treasury and Receivables. He/She is expected to accomplish tasks with accuracy within the timelines and add value to the processes.
Responsibilities:
The Finance Intern will perform the following tasks that include but are not limited to:

Book and process supplier invoices in JD Edwards
·
Assist in liaison with suppliers for invoices, Statement of accounts, etc.
·
Coordinate with department managers for approval of supplier invoices
·
Assist in physical archiving of documents and manage the filing system
·
Assist in updating the daily sales in Excel for the receivables team
·
Assist the treasury team in finalizing payment batches for each payment cycle
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s in Commerce - Finance & Accounting or similar
·
One to two years of UAE experience is preferred
Skills and knowledge:
·
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·
Strong organizational and time management skills
·
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
·
Knowledge of Oracle JDE (ERP) is preferred
·
Enthusiasm to learn and aptitude to accept challenges
