SUMMARY
The Accounting Manager is responsible for planning, controlling, and leading accounting processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant recording of the Group’s financial activities. This role oversees general accounting operations and the preparation of financial statements for the Brands, ensuring alignment with Group accounting standards, internal controls, and local statutory requirements.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
· Lead and supervise the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial reporting to the USA, Brazil, and France.
· Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with Group and local accounting standards.
· Establish, document, and maintain accounting processes to ensure high-quality and consistent financial information.
· Review balance sheet account reconciliations, identify variances, and lead resolution actions.
· Support internal and external audit engagements, acting as key accounting point of contact.
· Develop and implement best practices, procedures, and controls to optimize accounting processes.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and control enhancements.
· Ensure data integrity and a single source of truth for all financial and accounting information.
· Maintain a strong understanding of accounting policies and remain current on local regulatory and compliance requirements.
· Perform ad hoc financial analysis and participate in special projects as requested.
· Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team through performance management, goal setting, and continuous training.
WHO YOU ARE
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Solid experience in accounting management or a senior accounting role, ideally within a multinational environment.
· Fluent in English and Spanish , with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, Tax, HR, Brands, Shared Services).
· Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in accounting systems (COMPAQ preferred).
· Proven expertise in HFM .
· Customer-centric mindset with high standards of service and professionalism.
