Job Description

Role Mission

The Expeditor will support both Front of House and Back of House service needs of the Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura. The Expeditor will aim to make service run efficiently while ensuring quality standards are upheld.

Key Accountabilities

·  Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the servers to the kitchen;
·  Ensure orders are being prepared with correct priority in mind;
·  Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature
·  Deliver orders to maintain fast service;
·  Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing;
·  Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning;
·  Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff, i.e. guest concerns or requests;
·  Support other tasks, as needed.

Job Requirements

·  At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry. Previous experiences in luxury contexts will be highly prioritized;
·  Fluent English;
·  Professional appearance and grooming;
·  Good interpersonal and organizational skills;
·  Spontaneity and genuineness, with the ability to be discreet and professional when required;
·  Team-working skills;
·  Able to work in a fast paced and luxury environment, with the ability of managing multiple priorities;
·  Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which included, evenings, weekends and holidays;
·  Certification of Food Handlers License.
