Graduate Trainee - PR & Communications (Fixed Term)

Job description

Alexander McQueen is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Trainee to join its Press and Communications team in September, at its London headquarters. Reporting to the PR Manager (Womenswear) and supporting the Press team, the Graduate Trainee will be a highly organised and motivated individual looking to start a career in Public Relations within a leading luxury fashion house.

Responsibilities:

· Processing global sample movement
· Working across departments to manage sample needs
· Handling domestic and international shipping accounts and local couriers. Constructing carnets when required
· Responsible for maintaining the condition and care of the womenswear samples
· Coordinating the press showroom activities
· Setting up the rooms for fittings
· Archiving collections
· Supporting with press events such as press days
· Supporting the Womenswear Press Assistant and the Womenswear PR Manager

Qualifications :

Requirements:

·  Previous work experience in a PR department or handling collections would be beneficial
·  Proactive with attention to detail
·  Excellent communications skills
·  Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
·  Strong organisation skills
·  A strong team player and a can-do attitude
