Job Family Group Description - Sales / Omni-Channel: Combines all positions within the different sales channels: retail, wholesale and e-commerce. Also includes all activities to support store management. Job Family Description -Retail Operations: Supports the sales process – puts displays in place, keeps stock level inventory, payment transactions, fitting or garment alterations. Sub-Job Family Description - Retail Operations: Coordinates operational activities of stores. Monitors the flow of products and ensures the store is kept well stocked. Supports store projects (changes in opening and closing times, renovations or relocation, etc.) Liaises with necessary departments to coordinate an action rollout plan within deadline and budget.

Key Accountabilities:
Reporting directly to the Retail Director APAC, the Retail Operation Manager Great China is responsible for collaborating with the Retail management team and all the stores.

Support the stores to understand the corporate strategy, to implement the company policy, to run efficient and compliant stores meeting company standards.

Be a strategic thinker, proactive and skillful. Liaise with other stakeholders to establish and maintain an efficient, systematical and profitable store operation.

Which includes but not limited by below aspects:

Improve operations quality and efficiency

Develop operations projects & tools

Lead retail network expansion

Optimize the internal communication

Enhance retail performance

Key Responsibilities.

Store Operations Quality & Client Centric

Create & update SOP manual based on HQ & local requirements, conduct staff training and periodic meeting/checks.

Regularly review and refine operational processes and customer service protocols to uphold the highest standards of retail excellence, leveraging feedback from retail teams and insights from daily checks and on-site visits

Manage the store service-related vendors, renew & filling the corresponding contracts. Centralize the purchase order generation in the system and the payment settlement.

Manage the uniforms of all store staffs (ordering, distribution, cleaning & maintenance) and control the yearly budget. Ensure grooming standard, and establish the system to monitor the performance.

Manage Store Compliance

Optimize Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) in order to meet both business and compliance requirements.

Ensure POS store daily operation aligned with AMI HQ standard.

Plan and execute store POS audit. Make enquiries with retail staff, conduct onsite stock take tests, examine supporting documents, ensure adequate follow-up.

Follow up on audit finding and give solutions or recommendations to store staffs.

Ensure store/POS staff have strong compliance sense and know how to protect themselves and brand property.

Communicate with HQ and ensure the relevant project is smoothly accomplished.

Assist to other department project if any, and ensure the whole process in compliance.

Optimize the Internal Communication

Share important information in clear, efficient way

Build and maintain an internal communication system among all stores.

Ensure smooth and effective dialogue with stores to improve the daily operations and share the case study of best practice.

Lead Retail Network Expansion

Oversee new store opening, relocations, remodels of existing stores, pop-up projects.

Create and refine the New Store Opening (NSO) procedure for further expansion.

Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the smooth store opening process.

Collaborate with other stakeholders for all retail related matters & projects, to follow up with stores to achieve KPI.

Requirements & Capabilities:

Bachelor degree and above, experience in fashion retail is a must;

Passionate for analysis, operation and project management.

Fluent / high level of experience with Excel and PPT, overall fluent with digital/mobile technology and Microsoft Office tools;

Finds effective ways to communicate and persuade.

Professional, proactive, and calm when handling challenging situations, open to listening to different points of view to reach consensus and agreement.

Committed to achieve the highest standards of working quality

Fluent in oral & written English, and Mandarin

Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation and positive working attitude, attentive to details.

Good team leader and team player, caring and empathetic attitude

Some domestic / international travel is required
