We are currently seeking a EMEA Junior Retail Distribution Planner as part of our dynamic team in Milan.
How you will contribute
· Execute weekly Standard Merchandising Reports to analyze business performance across departments, countries, and stores, while monitoring stock levels and coverage.
· Develop sales forecasts to accurately estimate stock needs and manage future stock adjustments, with a focus on permanent (Never Out of Stock) collections.
· Take full responsibility for weekly store-level allocations of the entire permanent catalogue, collaborating closely with the EMEA and ME Merchandising team and WW Distribution Planning team.
· Partner with Retail and Store Managers to gather qualitative market insights, adjusting allocations in response to local needs, sales trends, and forecasts.
· Collaborate with the Merchandising team on stock consolidation, coordinating rebalance and store-to-store activities across departments to optimize stock efficiency.
· Support the EMEA Merchandising team in the Seasonal Bulk Allocation process across all departments, ensuring optimal sell-through to meet targets.
· Provide support during the Buying Campaign, contributing to reorder analysis and sales forecasting.
· Conduct dedicated analyses to regularly define the end-of-season list of slow movers.
· Manage and coordinate the transfer-out process of selected styles from DOS to Outlets, ensuring alignment with the commercial strategy.
· Monitor and coordinate the transfer of selected styles from stores to the central warehouse, in line with global and regional stock mapping strategies.
Who you are
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
· 1-3 years of experience in roles such as Analyst, Merchandise Allocator, Planner, or similar positions within leading retail companies.
· Strong enthusiasm for numbers and a keen interest in the fashion industry.
· Exceptional analytical skills.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Familiarity with SHARE is advantageous.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders.
· Great organizational skills and ability to work with deadlines.
· Fluent in English.
