Job description
We are currently seeking an Operations Specialist who will report to the VP, Retail Excellence. YOUR OPPORTUNITY The Operations Specialist oversees the day-to-day operations for retail, concession, and outlet locations across the Americas. They assist the Head of Operations with administration and procurement; support the Regional Operations Managers with coordination and project planning; and streamline communication for processes and compliance. They also supervise omnichannel operations and act as a liaison between global project teams and stores to expand omnichannel services to meet performance expectations. They are involved in inventory, after sales, and assist with the overall operational excellence of the business.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
General Administration:
·
Cascade all directives and guidelines from Global Operations Team, directly to the retail network.
·
Ensure operations content is translated to relevant languages for the Americas.
·
Assist the Head of Operations and Regional Operations Managers to verify global framework meet local specifications and comply with local regulations.
·
Streamline operations communication and cross-departmental information for retail stores.
·
Manage surveys and questionnaires relevant for operations and general retail assessment.
·
Ensure operational resources for the retail stores are dynamic and up to date within collaboration applications and management tools, including, but not limited to Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
·
Coordinate with both internal shared services and external partners.
·
Visit retail stores on a regular basis to gather insights on efficacy of solutions and provide feedback to increase compliance or improve.
·
Accommodate any ad hoc requests from the senior retail leadership to support the retail network.
Retail Operations Coordination:
·
Ensure the roll-out and the follow-up of all processes and guidelines in coordination with the Regional Operations Managers.
·
Proceed and follow-up all retail orders process and monitor regional budget including but not limited to packaging, uniforms, retail tools, drinks, supplies.
·
Support with the execution of inventories and monitor cycle count performance.
·
Extract and pilot all retail operations KPIs.
·
Identify local best practices to be rolled out regionally, in agreement with global guidelines.
·
Identify key retail guidelines to develop in collaboration with Regional Operations Managers.
·
Ensure stock optimization and organization of the retail network.
·
Support Regional Operations Managers with all retail store projects including openings, closing, relocations.
Omnichannel Coordination:
·
Be the point of contact between local retail teams, Kering Amer Omnichannel and Global Omnichannel Teams.
·
Train all stores on relevant omnichannel processes.
·
Implement and follow-up all necessary guidelines.
·
Support the retail network with troubleshooting and escalation.
After Sales Coordination:
·
Be the point of contact between local retail teams, Kering Amer After Sales and Global Teams.
·
Challenge Repair center & BAL Quality on lead-times.
·
Inform and follow-up all recall campaigns.
·
Ensure local retail teams and Kering After Sales comply with Before Sales and After Sales ticket processes.
·
Coordinate trainings by Kering After Sales with local retail teams on relevant processes.
WHO YOU ARE
·
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
·
Cross functional partnership.

High understanding of luxury environment and competitors.
·
Able to conceive and drive messages and projects.
·
Highly organized, detailed oriented and able to prioritize tasks based on the needs of the business.

2-3 years’ experience in retail environment (head office or store) with an international exposure.
COMPENSATION
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, BALENCIAGA includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $75,000 USD to $85,000 USD.
