Summary
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist who will report to the Director of Human Resources.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Human Resources Generalist is supporting the HR Manager with all HR-related matters for the retail population within the East United States, Canada and Mexico. This individual will contribute executing activities including but not limited to employee relations, forecasting/budgeting, talent acquisition and development, diversity and inclusion, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and other areas of both Company reporting and people management.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

·  Support the implementation and compliance of Company and Human Resources policies, procedures and practices for cities and states within the Company’ East Regional area which entails part of United States and various provinces throughout Canada and Mexico
·  Collaborate in performance management and the annual salary process effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization
·  Facilitate retail investigations as needed and advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
·  Work on several HR reporting, extract and analysis
·  Conduct touch bases and exit interviews for retail management level and above with a proactive approach
·  Oversee all time away, including PTO and leaves of absence
·  Ensure appropriate steps are followed with regards to all medical and/or reasonable employee accommodations 
·  Manage and rollout HR and local trainings as required by law (i.e. Unlawful Harassment Training, Anti-bribery and Corruption, etc.)
·  Recruit and place talent in accordance with the Company Hiring Pact and legal guidelines
·  Support new employee orientation and help hires onboard and align with the Company values and behaviors
·  Maintain and ensure Health and Safety Practices are upheld within the retail field
·  Participation into various events and initiatives: International Women’s Day, Baby Leave program, Telecommuting and flexible workplace practices 

 

WHO YOU ARE

·  Bachelor degree in Business or Human Resources or related discipline
·  3 to 5 years of applicable experience in a retail or fashion company ( luxury preferred)
·  General knowledge of various employment laws and practices in different United States and Canada
·  Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
·  Gather and analyze information skillfully. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
·  Exceptional discretion, judgment and critical thinking
·  Strong organizational skills, high level of efficiency, and ability to manage operations with precision and consistent follow through
·  Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
·  Strong client-service orientation and relationship-building skills; comfort working with various types of people in different contexts
·  Excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills
·  Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business through excellent execution
·  Skills in database management and record keeping. Highly proficient in Microsoft Programs. Experience w/ Workday Preferred
