Job description
Role:
You will be based in the shared service centre in Haywards Heath and employed by Kering UK Services Ltd. Your role will be to support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day and month end financial activities for designated UK luxury retail companies within the Kering group.
• Assisting in the completion of Month End Reporting Package for Saint Laurent for submission to Divisional Finance in Paris.
• Responsibility for the full reporting package for the Outlet in Bicester including determining the level of accruals needed for the closing and review of the P&L.
• Reconciling concessions on a monthly basis.
• Responsibility for the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Assisting the Financial Controller with the completion of the budgets and forecasts to strict deadlines.
• Checking expenses in Concur.
• Checking invoice coding & VAT treatment in Onbase.
• Deputise for the Financial Controller with Divisional Finance when required.
• Preparing and posting the fixed assets and prepayments.
• Managing archiving process for store receipts.
• Preparing ad hoc reports requested from head Office and completing National Statistics.
• Work closely with the Financial Controller to develop procedures and controls to meet the expanding business needs.

• Strong excel and general IT skills
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Ideally you will be ACCA/CIMA part qualified
• You should ideally have experience in retail accounting
• Experience in process development and improvement
• Knowledge of JD Edwards and HFM Accounting System would be beneficial
• Experience in completion of VAT returns essential.
• Ideally experienced in pivot tables and V lookup's.
