Responsabilities
Kepler Cheuvreux Group is seeking for its office in Brussels a VIE to support our Equity Research team. The equity research VIE will support analysts conveying Kepler Cheuvreux’s strategic view, recommending stocks and helping to generate commissions.
- You will work within the Equity Research team reporting directly to research analysts.
- The main task consists of assisting analysts in writing and publishing financial research reports (companies, sectors, thematic, etc.).
- You will support analysts’ fundamental approach working on in-depth industry and company modelling, and perform valuation analysis in order to derive investment recommendations.
- You will help analysts to present the findings to institutional investors and Kepler Cheuvreux’s equity salesforce (presentation, bespoke work, etc.).
- You will help to develop and maintain databases.
Profile & skills
- You will need to have recently completed a Master’s level qualification within a management, economic or engineering subject, or you need to be in your last year of studies, seeking placement.
- You are seeking a VIE to gain valuable direct experience in a demanding work environment.
- You have analytical, computer (Microsoft Office) and interpersonal skills such as exceptional writing and communication.
- It requires an individual who has strong interest and understanding of financial markets and some working knowledge of accounting, financial modelling, and valuation techniques.
- You need to be dynamic and entrepreneurial.
- You have to be a team player who can work in a high-pressure environment.
- It is essential that you are truly fluent in English and Dutch. French is also a plus.
