The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to Senior Audit Officer and Manager Audit and Cash Management in setting up policies and drawing out different responsibilities of the Revenue Audit & Cash Management section of Dubai Metro & Tram.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Audit, track and ensure the revenue generated from stations are properly being accounted, reconciled and deposited in bank nominated by RTA.
·  Daily Cash Reconciliation for all stations.
·  Reconciliation of Manual Revenue reports, System Reports and CCC reports.
·  Reconcile reports between AFC Level 1 and AFC Level 3.
·  Regularly review and take measures to ensure that Surplus and Loss at the stations are minimized.
·  Ensure established refund process is being followed and investigate any irregularities getting highlighted in the reports or via the Surplus and Loss.
·  Investigate any abnormal trends and report to the line heads and the management on the first occurrence.
·  Generation and collation of revenue reports from all the stations and publish different reports periodically.
·  Perform stock management and inventory control; storage of stock and deployment of stock at stations & car parks will be done on the basis of stock reports.
·  Perform daily cross checking of reports from the stations and car parks and will do physical count as well at stations and car parks if it requires.
·  Ensure Adequate Stock planning and Deployment of stock to all stations.
·  Audit and ensure that the cash floats are intact at the stations and review the requirements periodically.
·  Management of revenue forms and reports for new stations, including updating and changing them regularly as per the RTA guidelines.
·  Ensure through regular audit exercises that there should not be any fraudulent activity happening in the ticket offices and car parks.
·  Responsible of Operational level of Audit and will do Monthly audits.
·  Audit Officer will remain out and about on the stations and perform physical checks as well.
·  Monitor and guide junior audit officer in performing their tasks and responsibilities.
·  Assist Senior Audit Officer in performing the tasks assigned by Manager Audit & Cash Management.
·  Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Senior Audit Officer and Manager Audit and Cash Management.

·  Ability to work in an efficient and flexible manner in unsupervised circumstances.

 

 

EXPERIENCE

·  Minimum of 2 years, preferably 1 years of work experience in the related field.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

·  Ideally a degree holder in Accounts/Finance/Commerce.
