- Market & Product Officer
The Market & Product Officer will directly report to the Customer Experience Manager. He/she will
analyse the data provided by the Business Information System of the company and propose strategies to optimize ridership and fare collection, which may involve designing new product offers.
The Market & Product Officer is in charge of analysing ridership data, designing customer acquisitions, identifying potential customers for high ridership, leading to higher revenues generation from various segments of the community. The responsibility will also include development of channels by way of devising new & innovative schedule offers, design trade schemes and modification of current offers to suit the special events.
- To do in depth analysis of ridership (AFC data, counting data), identify trends, evaluate the level of offer per period and propose relevant changes
- To study and analyse customer behaviour and travel cycle, identify market segments, analyse sales and propose new offers for non-users and induce more frequent use/ high usage customers.
- Planning and forecast ridership, new potential segments and revenue targets
- To collect and collate market and customer intelligence: socio demographic data, Economical trends, existing travel survey and customer studies
- To propose and develop ad-hoc market studies and surveys after budget approval
- To design new schedules and offers within the framework of the guidance / notification given by the Government of Telengana.
- To coordinate and work closely with operations teams in designing transportation offers for special events and long-term trends of passenger travel.
- Any other activities as assigned by the Customer Experience Manager.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Ability to understand customer behaviour and travel pattern through relevant segmentation analysis and propose new offers.
- Ability to analyse the data and propose efficient actions to improve customer satisfaction and increase ridership/revenue. Ability to interpret business information systems, population stats, traffic counts, demographic and geographic data to forecast and design various plans and offers for prospective customers: understanding of patronage modelling, statistical analysis and usage of GIS system
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- The incumbent should be Graduate with MBA, urban planning, socio economics matters are preferred. Experience 2-3 years in product and service analysis, product development.
- Experience in transportation sector or similar industries are preferred.
- Fluent in English
