Supporter Acquisition Officer - wildlife charity

Job description

The job: a new and critical role designed to take Kent Wildlife Trust to the next level of income generation. With a focus on supporter recruitment from a variety of sources this is a key strategic role at the heart of a successful local charity.

Role: some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, training and managing the membership recruitment team, developing and retaining people and skills, ensuring motivation and performance are excellent.
• Developing existing and new entry points for recruitment activity including door drops, door to door and telemarketing, ensuring that targets are met and the reputation of Kent Wildlife Trust is upheld.
• Actively pursuing dynamic, cost effective methods of recruiting members.

You: will be an experienced sales or charity professional, with excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead a team of well-motivated staff. Your knowledge and understanding will help establish Kent Wildlife Trust as a leader in the field helping us deliver on our strategic aims and ambitions. You will bring to the role tenacity and a hunger for income generation and both a desire to improve the tried and tested as well as the new and innovative.
