Our client, Galapagos Netherlands, is searching for their target discovery and validation site a
SCIENTIST STEM CELL TECHNOLOGIES
Profile
As a scientist stem cell technologies you will join a team that evaluates novel protein targets with key roles in various therapeutic areas for transition to early phases of drug discovery. You will be responsible for developing novel cell culture protocols based on human stem cells and organoids. These cultures will be used to set up disease-relevant assays for target and drug discovery purposes.
Requirements
- You have a MSc or PhD in Life Sciences and experience in organoid and/or stem cell technologies. Expertise with iPS cells is highly valued.
- Proven experience with human primary cell cultures and assay development.
- You work accurately, and are familiar with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9000).
- Excellent organizational skills and are a team player.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as good command in English (writing and speaking).
What is offered?
- A temporary contract for one year, with possibly a permanent contract afterwards.
- The salary ranges from 40 - 50K / year, depending on education and experience.
