WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Every Kellogg's student owns and completes a challenging, meaningful role that contributes to our business. You will be coached by business leaders in their fields of expertise. During your time on the placement, you will be building your network and expertise in a thriving environment of professional development and teamwork.

The opportunity available is based in Manchester (UK market).Your placement will form a key part of the UK Customer Logistics team at Kellogg. You will be involved in a wide variety of customer and logistics projects, such as range and minimum order quantity optimization, customer and network operational solutions, product segmentation and product supply and forecasting.

Your main responsibilities will include supporting the forecasting team, developing and analyzing cost to serve models and reporting and identifying trends on customer and logistics service level metrics.

You will also gain experience in customer engagement, taking part in meetings with key internal stakeholders at all levels of the business, with the opportunity to expand to customer collaborative meetings.

This is an office based job with exposure to cross functional activities, giving you the opportunity to understand the interdependencies customer logistics has with other functions, such as sales and commercial, physical distribution, quality and food safety, whilst also learning more about the full landscape of the business.

Qualifications :

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

To be considered for this position, as well as a hunger to learn and succeed in customer logistics, you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

·  Currently completing a logistics-related degree (or equivalent)
·  A minimum 300 UCAS points (or equivalent)
·  Leadership potential with a proven track record in collaborating with others
·  The ability to organise and co-ordinate
·  Strong skills in analytical thinking, able to process and synthetize information from big data sets
·  The ability to plan, prioritise and deliver results
·  Passion to build strong collaborative relationships
·  A forward planner with an interest in building a long term career within the FMCG industry
·  A confident communicator capable of presenting and influencing at all levels

Preferred:

Previous work experience in any discipline, where you have delivered results and exceeded expectations
