Job description

Join us as a Mixer Operator in our Augusta, GA state-of-the-art baking/production facility! To be successful in this role, you could certainly use two scoops of communication skills and a bowl full of detail while preparing some of the world most favorite product for shipment. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

· Follow the recipe! – Stocking and adding all batch ingredients and insuring that all formulas are correct and ingredient usage by recipe is accurate while maintaining all required paperwork (like batch sheets, end shift report, ingredient lot tracking, etc.)
· Quality, quality, quality! – You will be starting up batter mix systems during your shift start up and after clean up. You will also be monitoring all mixing area equipment to visually inspect batches for color, viscosity, and mix vortex before approval and transfer
· Best Practices = Best Results! – You will be performing product safety checks and reporting any negative findings immediately to your supervisor or line lead. In addition you will be conducting sanitation checks and general clean up of work area before and after shift

Required :

·  High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
·  Basic computer skills
·  Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above waist at a maximum of fifty pounds

Bonus Points :

·  Don't give up, try to keep things fun
·  Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant and experience with automated process flow systems
