WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the operation – where some of Kellogg's finest brands are manufactured.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working proactively within a team to ensure the products we make satisfy our consumers from both a Quality and Food Safe perspective

• Ensuring that the relevant controls are in place and documented to prevent cross contamination

• Through research, develop and trial new technology to continuously improve our Plant Hygiene

• Use Practical Problem Solving when required

Our apprenticeship consists of a 4 year fully funded training scheme attending Nottingham University on a block week basis (4 weeks per annum).

Through a combination of University based theory and practical application in our Wrexham plant, you will learn all the you need to enter the Quality and Food Safety working environment in a Manufacturing facility

Qualifications :

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?




As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in manufacturing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

Have, or expected to achieve, 4 GCSE's at Grade C or above – Maths, English and Science plus one other

PLUS:

Have, or expected to achieve, 3 A Levels at Grade C or above (or equivalent) – including ONE of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Human Biology, Environmental Studies, Sports Science and Design & Technology, Food Technology

• Have an interest in Cereal/Food Manufacturing and the controls required to produce ‘Food Safe' products

• To be an analytical thinker with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work to a given timescale

• To be enthusiastic and demonstrate a passion for hard work

• A confident communicator with the ability to integrate within established teams
