Job description
Category Manager is the undisputed categories expert for his/her customer(s), developing Kellogg's business & total category sales via specific initiatives leveraging Kellogg's category vision & Masterplan.
Develop and implement the Category Strategy for Cereals and Snacks (Kellogg's and Pringles) in line with the France Benelux cluster & European category and brand strategies in order to deliver the Sales, Assortment, Pricing, Promotion and Shelf targets.
Supporting Key Account Managers in CatMan projects & activities towards customers. Lead Category Management projects in NL.
Reporting into Senior Category Manager who is responsible for all Category Management activities for The Netherlands.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
We are currently extending our team and we are looking for the best candidate to create, develop and drive customer Category Management service for specific customer(s) to increase sales and achieve customer business targets:
- Analyze category & Kellogg's performance at customer level and recommend appropriate action plans:
- Conduct regular category reviews with the customer and establish plans to improve category performance & Kellogg's market share.
- Support the snacks & breakfast heads of category to understand customer's stakes providing added value through customer expertise and contributing to build Kellogg's category expertise.
- Conduct regular range reviews and recommend optimum assortment - within objectives & guidelines set up by head of category - to maximize category sales.
- Recommend merchandising plans to customer consistently with Kellogg's merchandising vision & policy. Develop with customer merchandising plans per skus and per type of store. Brief sales force & supervise implementation for the banner.
- Create and execute insight lead customer initiatives to grow Categories.
- Contribute with KAM to improve promo efficiency.

SKILLS: at ease with analysis tools (Excel, IRI, Gfk).
LANGUAGE: fluent in Dutch & English.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: at least 2 years Key Account Management, Marketing/Brand Management or Category Management in a FMCG company.
Education at University level.
