Job Description

The role of the Telemarketing Executive is to develop long term relationships with new and existing clients, promoting the portfolio of company products and services and to maximise sales opportunities.

• Contact and development of relationships with new business opportunities

• Proactively follow up leads generated by the account managers.

• Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database

• Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business

• Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives

• Attend monthly meetings with the Corporate Account Managers to update information and discuss any issues

Person Specification

• Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a sales environment which has involved business to business or business to consumer interaction

• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

• High degree of accuracy

• Ability to prioritise issues and perform effectively under pressure

• Ability to work independently and use own initiative

• Ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships (internal/external)

• Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively

• Self-motivated, proactive, determined and achievement orientated
